Goal: Increase the cultural competency of the Federal Strategy staff through DEI education and professional development opportunities.
In future, all staff should complete at least two trainings per year in bias mitigation, anti-racism or ally education.
Year 1: In partnership with ODI, the team will strategize ways to implement climate surveys and other tools to assess our current state and set priority areas to work on together in the subsequent years.
Years 2 -5: Annually review progress during team retreats and iterate approach, as needed. Work with ODI to develop tools to measure staff engagement and increases in cultural competency as a result of the trainings.
