Goal: Continue to meet and exceed Johns Hopkins University & Hospital’s HopkinsLocal BUILD, BUY, HIRE, and INVEST goals.

Future State

  • Strive to ensure that all relevant internal and external stakeholders are aware of and promote each BUILD, BUY, HIRE, and INVEST goals.
  • Publish quarterly performance “report cards” for each hospital and School within the JHU&M enterprise.
  • Incorporate the relevant HopkinsLocal goal where appropriate into the annual SuccessFactors evaluation of hospital and university leaders held responsible for meeting or exceeding their respective goals.

Timeline

  • Year 2 – Q1 & Q2 – Advertise an RFP to assess the HopkinsLocal initiative. Present the outcome of the assessment to JHU&M leadership.
  • Year 2 – Q1 & Q2 – Develop training materials for all staff positioned to influence HopkinsLocal performance outcomes.
  • Year 2 – Q3 & Q4 – Publish quarterly report cards for each hospital and School within the JHU&M enterprise.
  • Year 2 – Q3 & Q4 – Socialize leadership regarding the revamped HopkinsLocal initiative and current performance.
  • Years 3 – 5 – Operationalize the inclusion of HopkinsLocal performance metrics in annual evals.
