School of Advanced International Studies
Goal: Increase the diversity of thoughts, viewpoints and perspectives in the classroom by adding additional diverse tenure track, term, and adjunct faculty members, conducting a curriculum review, and adding co-curricular programs that address these goals.
Future State
- Increase in the number of diverse faculty (i.e., race, ethnicity, gender, age, national origin, religion, disability, sexual orientation)
- Socialize faculty to syllabi inclusiveness
- Standards and guidelines for diverse courses and syllabi
- Increase the availability of diverse courses
- Increased syllabi inclusiveness
- Increase the presence of diverse speakers and guests at SAIS programs and activities
