The 2020 Diversity and Inclusion Conference was held virtually on October 22 and October 23, 2021. Workshops on topics ranging from staff equity and retention to trans allyship were offered to more than 500 attendees.
During the plenary session, Vice Provost for Diversity and Inclusion & Chief Diversity Officer Katrina Caldwell shares her vision for diversity, equity, and inclusion at Johns Hopkins. The keynote, a Q&A with disability rights activist Judith Heumann, engaged participants in a conversation around the progress made by the disability justice movement and the work that lies ahead to ensure an equitable and justice world.
